L’Oreal Sales Slump as Makeup Loses Allure During Lockdowns

Jul.31 — The world’s biggest cosmetics maker, L’Oreal, reported a 19% drop in sales in the second quarter, as customers purchased less makeup during the lockdowns. Chief Executive Officer Jean-Paul Agon however tries to remain optimistic about the second half, as he told Bloomberg’s Caroline Connan in Paris.
